Huila, Colombia (Decaf)

This coffee is first washed and then decaffeinated via the sugarcane process - often described as the natural process. There are no chemical solvents used with this method and after decaffeinating, the coffees are 99.9% caffeine free. The sugarcane process is a newer method of decaffeinating as the specialty coffee industry explores better methods to maintain the flavours. In a table with regular caffeinated coffees, this coffee was indistinguishable from the others. Expect lots of cinnamon, almond, and smoked honey to come through in the cup.
